We’ve all heard of those testimonials where someone supposedly made half a million dollars from completing some online course that taught them how to make money online. And, like any sensible person, we’re equally as skeptical as we are intrigued by such claims.

The thing that is, is that when you’re just starting out in the online marketing field, immediately making any substantial income that you can live off is a most unlikely thing. The keyword here is ‘immediately’, because if you apply what you’re taught, you will come to realize, over time, that some strategies work and some strategies don’t. And the reason that many people seem to make so much in their first year is because their income quickly grows within a short period of time once they finally grasp just how it all works, how the make money online game is played.

You see, for your first 6 months odds are that you won’t be making much at all, if anything. You may make a few hundred dollars here or there, but nothing that will make you incredibly rich by any means. But once you figure out how to finally make your first dollar, then making your second dollar becomes easier, and your third, etc. As they say, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer, this is so true in internet marketing. The bigger you become the easier the game gets, the more sites and authority you have, and the more likely people will be to listen to your ideas or next greatest product.

That’s why you see people making nothing for 6 months, and then all of a sudden they may land themselves two hundred thousand dollars before the end of the financial year. Extraordinary feats like this are possible in the online world, because some people finally ‘get it’, and understand how it all works, and once they do, the possibilities become limitless.

So whilst this wasn’t so much a tutorial on how to make money online, it was more of a guide that hopes to bring you to the understanding that the key to learning the strategies involved in making money online lye within the understanding that once you make your first bit of income, acquiring wealth through the internet becomes easier and easier thereafter.
